FUJI ULTRA POLYESTER THREAD

Fuji worked closely with Angler's resource to develop a unique wrapping thread made of specialized polyester that accepts finish beautifully and importantly resists UV, aging, and abrasion better than nylon. Polyester is the number one thread choice for any outdoor application in the marine industry for its ability to withstand harsh environments such as saltwater and scorching UV rays. Fuji Ultra Poly brings a bright colorfast finish to any rod building project and thanks to the high tech manufacturing process where dye is computer-controlled and digitally measured you can count on consistent colors from spool to spool.

Unlike standard nylon wrapping thread, Ultra Poly is the first polyester thread made for rod wrapping. It contains no silicone or oil normally found in the sewing industry and is manufactured for Fuji to exact Standards by one of the most technologically advanced thread manufacturers worldwide.

Available in regular NOCP (requiring no color preserver to maintain its color), ULTRA (requiring color preserver), and Metallics in A and D thread thickness and 100m and 1oz spools.
